The mission of the Marine Corps Detachment, Fort Leonard wood, MO is to provide administrative, training and logistical support to Marine students and staff assigned to the Military Working Dog School, Accident Investigators Course, and the Corrections and Detention Specialist Course in order to continue the growth of initial entry Marines and enhance the professional development of Marines from the operating forces within the military police, corrections and contracting communities.
