Mr. Landgrebe serves as the Military Working Dog (MWD) Operations Manager for the United States Marine Corps, a position he’s held since October of 2004. His position manages all dog assignments, coordination with the Department of Defense Dog Training Center, and worldwide mission support for all USMC MWD teams across the globe.
During a military career spanning 21 years in the United States Air Force, Mr. Landgrebe began his time in the MWD profession in 1984 as a MWD Trainer at the 341st Training Squadron on Lackland Air Force Base, TX. Througout his distinguished service as a MWD professional for the USAF he worked as a Security Forces MWD Handler, MWD Trainer, Kennel Master, and MWD Pre-Deployment Instructor. His time in the Air Force culminated with his service as the Superintendent for the DoD MWD Program.
Mr. Landgrebe holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Law Enforcement from the Community College of the Air Force. He is the recipient of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Law Enforcement Executive Development Administration Trilogy Award for completion of the Supervisory, Command and Executive Leadership Institute Courses. His commitment to service and dedication to the MWD profession is a tremendous asset to the entire USMC MWD Enterprise.
